26 Weeks of Giving
Rewarding local organizations for their work in advancing inclusion.
The 26 Weeks of Giving campaign is a collaborative initiative between the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, Special Olympics Minnesota, and Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union to recognize local nonprofits dedicated to championing inclusion as we build momentum toward the USA Games. Funded through the Kathleen F. and David W. MacLennan Foundation, this statewide campaign awards grants ranging from $500 to $20,000 to 30 selected applicants from the community that advance inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities. By supporting these everyday local leaders and sharing stories of their impact, the initiative aims to celebrate accessibility and belonging, while ensuring that hosting the 2026 USA Games leaves a permanent legacy of inclusion and community connection across Minnesota.
