Sponsorship raises the bar for acceptance and inclusion and celebrates athletes on the track
MINNEAPOLIS, February 24, 2025 – Gallagher, a global insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services firm announced that it has been named the Official Athletics Sponsor of the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games. Adding to its global partnership with Special Olympics, now entering its 5th year, the Official Athletics Sponsor naming rights will further help amplify Gallagher’s commitment to creating inclusive athletic experiences in the United States.

Gallagher will extend their support of the Games beyond their Platinum Partner status, with a concentrated focus of supporting the Athletics competitions. Through a number of employee volunteer roles, Gallagher will support and celebrate athletes on the field at Athletics, at Opening Ceremonies, and through Unified Sports and other celebrations at the USA Games in Minnesota. This dedicated involvement ensures a seamless and empowering experience for the athletes on the track, directly aligning with Gallagher’s mission of helping people achieve their goals.

The 2026 Special Olympics USA Games will bring together over 100,000 athletes, coaches, volunteers and fans from across the United States to Minnesota in 2026. The athletics competition is one of the more popular events held during the USA Games and it’s expected to have almost 300 athletes competing in various Athletics events at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
