The new partnership celebrates shared values of inclusion, equity, wellness, and community

Seann DeMaris is the Senior Vice President of Sports for the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games. As a 20-year sports industry veteran, Seann served most recently as Vice President of Programs for Special Olympics Iowa, overseeing state competitions. Furthermore, Seann served as a dedicated member of the LOC for the inaugural 2006 Special Olympics USA Games in Ames, IA. Now, 20 years later, Seann is stepping up to the plate once again to help create another unforgettable event!

Daniel Striggow is a defensive lineman for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Prior to joining the NFL in 2025, Daniel attended the University of Minnesota, where he played football for the Golden Gophers and attended the Carlson School of Management. Daniel has been involved in the Special Olympics movement as a Unified partner for many years, participating in a variety of sports and formerly serving as the Vice President of the Special Olympics Minnesota Student Board of Directors. It is Daniel’s hope that one day, Unified programming won’t be necessary because inclusion is ingrained in our communities.
