The University of Minnesota Track and Field Stadium is a state-of-the-art facility designed to host major competitions at all levels. Located on the Twin Cities campus in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the stadium features a nine-lane track with the Beynon 2000 surface, renowned for its durability and performance. It is fully equipped to host all field events on-site, ensuring a complete track and field competition can be held in one location. Competitors benefit from fully enclosed, heated warm-up and cool-down areas located beneath the grandstands. The stadium can accommodate large crowds with 2,400 permanent bleacher seats and additional event-based seating. Included as part of a university athletics revamp in 2018, the construction of this facility enabled the University of Minnesota to host the 2022 Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships for the first time since 2003, marking a significant milestone in the stadium’s history and showcasing its capability to host top-tier events.
