This page highlights volunteer roles currently open to the public, organized by category, where you can explore opportunities and sign up for available shifts. Every role plays a part in creating a safe, welcoming, and unforgettable Games experience for athletes and guests.

Browse all roles currently available.
Support competition across all 16 sports by assisting with field-of-play setup, athlete flow, scorekeeping, and coordination with officials. This function also supports awards operations.
Provide general support across ceremonies, receptions, and other special events. Roles include greeting and wayfinding, crowd flow, and assisting with venue setup/teardown.
Support the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the Games running. Roles focus on access control, warehouse and supply support, and assisting with transport coordination.
Support media operations, volunteer check-in activities, and general marketing efforts.
Support athlete and delegation comfort by assisting at housing sites, dining halls, and venue hospitality areas.
Medical/Specialized Roles
These roles require special training and are currently only available by invitation.
Sideline Medical volunteers support athlete health and safety during competition by assisting with first aid, emergency response, and sports medicine care. Working as part of a coordinated medical team, volunteers help provide timely, scalable care across venues and sports.
Licensed healthcare professionals support Healthy Athletes by administering screenings that identify unmet health needs, reduce pain, and connect athletes to essential care. Volunteers use best practices for providing high-quality, respectful care while gaining meaningful experience serving people with intellectual disabilities.
Students pursuing healthcare careers assist with Healthy Athletes screenings alongside licensed professionals, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive setting. Volunteers build skills and confidence while learning best practices for caring for and communicating with people with intellectual disabilities.
