Wells Fargo will serve as the Official Volleyball Sponsor
MINNEAPOLIS, May 5, 2025 – Wells Fargo announced today its commitment to be the partner of the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games and the Official Volleyball Sponsor of the 2026 USA Games in Minnesota from June 20-26, 2026.
The 2026 Special Olympics USA Games is expected to be one of the biggest U.S. sporting events of the year, attracting over 100,000 athletes, coaches, volunteers, and fans from across the United States.
Volleyball is expected to have more than 200 athletes competing in the traditional 6v6 format, as well as Unified 6x6 at the 3M Arena at Mariucci on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis.
Wells Fargo has served as a Special Olympics International sponsor since 2022. Its sponsorship supports the mission of Special Olympics to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of sports for children and adults with disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Employee engagement is at the center of Wells Fargo’s support for the Special Olympics, as Wells Fargo leaders, employees, and their families participate in Special Olympics events as volunteers at sponsored Special Olympics events.
