Annie Kunz is an elite multi-event athlete from Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and a standout two-sport star. At Texas A&M University, Annie earned NCAA Division I All-American honors while competing in both soccer and track and field. Her professional career reached new heights in 2021 when she won the heptathlon at the U.S. Olympic Trials with a world-leading score. She went on to represent Team USA at the Tokyo Olympic Games, where she placed 6th in the world.
Annie has transformed her athletic success into a platform for inclusion and mentorship. A longtime supporter of inclusive sports, she has previously volunteered as a coach for the Special Olympics Rush Thunder soccer program. Now serving as an Ambassador for the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, Annie utilizes her experience as a world-class competitor to champion athletes of all abilities. Through her advocacy for health and unified sports, she inspires others to break barriers and pursue excellence on and off the field.
