Jalen Suggs is a Minnesota native now playing for the Orlando Magic in the NBA. A rare two-sport phenom at Minnehaha Academy, Jalen made history as the first athlete in Minnesota to win both Mr. Basketball and Mr. Football in the same year, leading his teams to multiple state titles. At Gonzaga University, he earned Consensus All-American honors and hit one of the most iconic buzzer-beaters in NCAA tournament history to lead the Bulldogs to the 2021 National Championship game. Selected 5th overall in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic, Jalen has solidified himself as a cornerstone of the franchise, earning NBA All-Defensive Second Team honors and establishing himself as one of the league’s premier young defenders.
