William Sawalich is a rising star in NASCAR, currently driving the No. 18 Toyota GR Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. Born October 3, 2006, in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Sawalich honed his skills in Quarter Midget and Legend cars before joining Joe Gibbs Racing’s ARCA program in 2023.
He quickly made his mark, capturing back-to-back ARCA Menards Series East championships in 2023 and 2024 while racking up wins across all ARCA divisions. Sawalich transitioned to full-time NASCAR O’Reilly Series competition in 2025 and earned his first series victory on April 4, 2026, at Rockingham Speedway. He currently sits 9th in the standings as one of NASCAR’s most promising young talents.
