Professional Hockey Player
Two-Time Olympian PWHL Walter Cup Champion

Grace Zumwinkle is a professional forward for the Minnesota Frost of the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) and a member of the United States national team. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, she finished her collegiate career ranked third all-time in program history with 109 goals and eighth in total points with 209. During her time as a Golden Gopher, she was a two-time Patty Kazmaier Award finalist, served as team captain, and earned multiple All-American and All-WCHA honors.

On the international stage, Zumwinkle is a two-time Olympian and a five-time World Championship medalist, including gold at the 2025 IIHF Women’s World Championship. Her professional career began with a historic debut in the PWHL, where she scored the league’s first-ever hat trick and earned 2024 Rookie of the Year honors. She is a back-to-back Walter Cup champion, having secured the league title with Minnesota in both 2024 and 2025.

A native of Excelsior, Minnesota, Zumwinkle was a three-sport standout at Breck, winning the 2017 Minnesota Ms. Hockey Award and the Athena Award. As an ambassador for the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, she uses her experience as an elite competitor to advocate for inclusion in sports. She is committed to celebrating the achievements of Special Olympics athletes and supporting a platform where resilience and athletic excellence are recognized on a national scale.
