John Conway is a Special Olympics Minnesota athlete of over 20 years. John is very proud and grateful to be a Special Olympics athlete, as it has given him the ability to compete with his friends, as well as meet new ones in the process! John is currently involved in a variety of sports, including floor hockey, flag football, basketball, and softball.
My hopes and dreams for the 2026 USA Games are to be able to represent Team Minnesota with the Games going on in my own backyard!
Having had the opportunity to attend the 2022 USA Games in Orlando, Florida, John considers the experience a high point in his time with Special Olympics. John is happy that Minnesota, his home state, is getting the chance to host the USA Games in 2026, and he hopes to be able to represent Team Minnesota with the USA Games going on in his own backyard!
