Travis Stuckart has been a proud member of the Special Olympics family for an impressive 37 years, competing in softball, volleyball, basketball, and flag football. Beyond sports, Travis is deeply committed to athlete leadership, serving as a voice for athletes in Wisconsin and across the North Central region as part of the United States Athlete Leadership Council. He cherishes the relationships he’s built with fellow athletes, volunteers, and coaches, which have shaped his extraordinary journey in Special Olympics.
My hopes and dreams for the 2026 USA Games are that many celebrity ambassadors lend their voice to help spread the mission, and also because being able to interact with them or watch their performances have been very fun highlights of previous Games.
Throughout his career, Travis has embraced numerous roles, including Global Messenger, Athlete Coach, and representative at the Global Athlete Congress. Notable highlights include finishing second in a half marathon at the 2003 World Games in Dublin, meeting his wife at the 2005 Athlete Congress in Panama City, and coaching at the 2022 USA Games in Orlando. Looking ahead to the 2026, Travis hopes for an exciting USA Games full of fun, memorable experiences for all involved.
