Roberto Rios is Chief Marketing Officer at Schwan’s Company, where he leads the organization’s marketing strategy with a focus on driving brand growth and purpose-led engagement. He brings over 25 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, having held global leadership roles at PepsiCo, including Global Chief Marketing Officer for Beverages. In that role, he stewarded iconic brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina. Roberto began his career in research and development at Procter & Gamble in Mexico after earning his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the National University of Mexico. His diverse professional journey has spanned multiple countries across Latin America, sharpening his global marketing perspective and passion for connection through shared values.

My hopes and dreams for the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games are that we create a fantastic experience hosting the Games, for the athletes, their families, and the whole community, and we elevate awareness of the Special Olympics vision and purpose!

Roberto became involved with Special Olympics through Schwan’s Company’s partnership with the USA Games starting in 2023, and he was immediately inspired by the movement’s vision and purpose. He hopes the 2026 USA Games will create a phenomenal experience for athletes, families, and the broader community—one that shines a brighter light on the mission of inclusion. The generosity and passion he has witnessed from everyone connected to the Games has been deeply moving, reinforcing his belief in the power of giving and the impact of coming together around a shared purpose.
